It is still too early to know if we have learned anything from the situation we are going through. It seems like we're starting to react against some of the outdated schemes that continue to rule the world. But, as suggested by Sociedad0 in the poster that accompanies the release, the real change is only achieved if you persevere. In this sense, the current moment should be more than a parenthesis and become a starting point. 'Hivernation' emerged with the aim of documenting an unprecedented moment. But it has also left us some certainties. It has confirmed, for example, that not all digital platforms dedicated to music are the same. While the retribution system of the streaming giants favors mainstream artists with millions of plays, Bandcamp is much more advantageous for labels like ours. It's a model based on transparency, personalization and community, which encourages direct transactions between labels and artists and their followers and allows for a fairer distribution of the money generated by the consumption of music. Initiatives such as Bandcamp Day, in addition, have been a slight relief for musicians at a time when their main source of income has disappeared. For all these reasons, 'Hivernation' will remain a project exclusively for Bandcamp, which cannot be heard or acquired on any other platform. It is just a gesture, but it is our small thanks to a company that shows that there is another way of doing things. 'Hivernation' is a temporal project for uncertain times and will only be available during a limited period of time.
As with the previous volumes, the full digital bundle includes print-ready files of a multi-format poster that can also be adapted as a screensaver for laptop or phone. Elements of the artworks of all releases can be combined, inviting to experiment with their radial composition and creating a continuity between them. Most of the revenue generated by the release will go directly to all the artists involved.

Very nice sounding reflective journey. Love this sound JT has carved out, like a cross of modular vs old gear......could all be ableton for all I know but does a great job of disguising anything digital with these organic mutating soundscapes.
